A. Primary effect filter:

a. Plate-type primary filter: common materials are non-woven fabric, nylon mesh, etc., like Camfil Farr's part of the plate-type primary filter, with simple structure and low wind resistance, it can effectively filter large particles of dust, hair, mosquitoes, etc., which is more than 5 microns, and it can be used as a front-end protection of air filtration to extend the service life of subsequent filters.

b. Folded primary filter: increase the filtration efficiency by increasing the filtration area, the material is mostly synthetic fibre, which increases the dust capacity and can maintain good filtration performance under the same air volume, and it is suitable for places with higher requirements for primary filtration.

c. Metal mesh primary filter: such as stainless steel plate type primary filter, with good corrosion resistance and strength, can be repeated cleaning and use, suitable for use in some of the dust and filter durability requirements of the environment, can efficiently filter large particles of pollutants, laying the foundation for air filtration.

B. Intermediate efficiency filter:

a. Bag-type medium-effect filter: Camfil Farr's bag-type medium-effect filter, using high-quality synthetic fibre or glass fibre material, made into multiple independent filter bag form, with a large dust capacity, can effectively intercept 1 - 5 micron particles, such as pollen, mould spores, etc., commonly used in air-conditioning and ventilation systems, intermediate filtration, to improve air quality.

b. Plate-type intermediate-effect filter: compact structure, uniform distribution of filter materials, different filtration precision can be selected according to different needs, effective filtration of smaller particles and some allergens in the air, is an important intermediate link in the air filtration system.

C. High Efficiency Filter (HEPA Filter):

a. H10 - H12 grade HEPA filter: It adopts ultra-fine glass fibre or synthetic fibre filter paper, which can filter fine particles of about 0.5 microns, and has a certain filtering effect on airborne bacteria and viruses, etc. It is widely used in places with high requirements on air quality, such as auxiliary areas of hospital operating rooms and electronic production workshops.

b. H13 - H14 grade HEPA filters: Higher filtration precision, capable of filtering very fine particles above 0.3 micron, with filtration efficiency of over 99.97% (for 0.3 micron particles), commonly used in sterile rooms of pharmaceutical factories, advanced laboratories and other environments with very high requirements for air cleanliness, to achieve the purpose of highly efficient air purification.

D. Activated carbon filter:

a. Granular activated carbon filters: take high-quality activated carbon particles as the core, filled in a specific frame or carrier, using the adsorption characteristics of activated carbon, can effectively remove formaldehyde, benzene, TVOC and other harmful gases in the air, as well as a variety of odours, such as some of Camfil Farr's products, which have a significant effect on the improvement of indoor air quality.

b. Honeycomb activated carbon filter: using through-hole structure of aluminium honeycomb, plastic honeycomb or paper honeycomb as a carrier, the activated carbon is uniformly attached to the honeycomb pore wall, which increases the contact area between the activated carbon and the air, improves the adsorption efficiency, and quickly removes odours and harmful gases in the air, and it has the advantage of small wind resistance.

E. Sub-high-efficiency filter: the filtration efficiency is between medium-efficiency and high-efficiency, and can filter particles of about 0.5 microns, which is commonly used in places where there are certain requirements for air quality but do not need to reach the standard of high-efficiency filtration, such as ordinary offices, shopping malls, etc., and it can be used as a high-efficiency filtration pre-filter to further enhance the cleanliness of the air.
